Post-partem Depression
Ok, so I always promised to be honest here. When I went to the doctor a couple of days ago for my sinus infection, we got to talking. He seems to think I have had mild post partum depression and the past couple of months it has been brought out more by stress like my grandfather dying, new job, possibilities of moving (we arent- it was short lived), money problems, Rainey teething, Rainey screaming as a means of communication, two dear friend relationships going up in smoke, traveling, seeing people I never wanted to see again, on top of being a new mother, my entire life changes, no family close by to help, etc… So, he suggested antidepressants. So, now I am taking Zoloft. So far, I hate it. Its been two days and I feel jittery and gross.

I am a mess.I am about to have my twenty third birthday, and my fourth child. This is my fourth pregncy in a row! I often yell at my other children and say real bad things I should not say.
more and more I have been getting the urge to cut myself.I go weeks without leaving the house, and can't drive.I want to be a good mom, my kids are amazing, but I feel like I don't want to be around them. my husband is not around very much, and dosen't understand my problems. I need help, are there other women like me?, and what do you do to cope?

I just had a baby 4 weeks ago and are having some disturbing thoughts. She is my second child and is nothing like my first. She crys all of the time, she wakes up almost every 3 hours like clock work and eats constantly. I was very sick during my preganancy so much so that i lost 20 pounds my first trimester. All i want to do since she has been born is cry and sleep. My husband took no time off to help and works long hours. I feel trapped and frustrated and alone. Am i suffering from ppd?
